In an effort to advance the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in our country, an important step has taken place towards the establishment of the Doctorate School in ICT, as a result of the PhDITKES project. This school is created in cooperation with strategic partners: University of Prizren, University of Pristina and University of Business and Technology (UBT).

The second meeting of the Board of the Doctoral School in ICT was successfully held on December 28, 2023. Participants in this meeting were the members of the Board, where the Ac. Dean of the FCS Prof. Assoc. Dr. Zirije Hasani is part of the board , who are outstanding personalities in the field of ICT and higher education in the country.

Among the main topics discussed in this meeting were the drafting of the work plan for the next year, the definition of doctoral programs, and the organization of scientific activities and the dissemination of knowledge in the field of ICT. Also, it was discussed about the partnership with the private sector and the involvement of the community in the process of developing the doctoral school.

In this special meeting, we are pleased to announce that as invited participants we had important personalities from Linnaeus University in Sweden, such as Arianit Kurti and Anita Mirijamdoter. Their participation contributed to the rich and fruitful discussions about the future of the Doctoral School in ICT and the applications for new ERASMUS projects.
