The Dean of the FCS, Prof. Asst. Zirije Hasani and the head of teaching, Ph. D. c. Arb\u00ebr Beshiri has been invited as a panelist in the proceedings of the Digital Summit of the Western Balkans, 2022<\/h3><\/div>

The Digital Summit of the Western Balkans, 2022, was held on September 21-22, 2022 in Pristina. In this summit, the dean of the FCS Prof.Ass.Dr. Zirije Hasani and Head of Teaching Ph. D. c. Arber Beshiri were invited as\u00a0 panelists. Ass. Endrit Fetahu also participated in this event as a guest<\/p>\n

In the “Key to Enabling Digital Excellence in the Region: (N)RENs” session of the summit held on 21.09.2022, Ph. D. c. Arb\u00ebr Beshiri participated as a panelist. In this session, it was discussed about the networking of academic and research issues in the institutions integrated in the academic and research intercommunal networks of GEANT, including the academic networks of higher education institutions of Kosovo. The topic of the discussion was the continuation of the International Conference on Education and Research Networking (TNC22), in which the Ph. D. c. Arb\u00ebr Beshiri, as a representative of the university.<\/p>\n

On 22.09.2022, the dean of the FCS, Zirije Hasani was a panelist in the “GIZ – Create and Register an “Digital Innovation Hub” into the European Market” session of the digital summit. The panel discussed the Digital Innovation Hub (DIH), where the University “Ukshi Hoti”-Prizren is a part of it. DIH is in the process of being created by ITP-GIZ in Prizren. UPZ specifically, FSK is the coordinator of the “Test before investment” module within DIH.<\/p>\n

Prof. Zirije revealed the reason for participating in DIH and the benefits it brings to the academic staff and students of the university, respectively to AFC, such as opportunities to research real market problems, opportunities for students to implement their ideas as startups , participation in various projects, creation of university networking, academic institution cooperation with businesses, etc.<\/p>\n
