We are so happy to announce launching and opening call for applications for the new edition of the Young Innovators\u2019 Program (YIP) 2024.<\/p>\n

As you are already informed, the YIP is part of the Digital Skills Festival (DSF), supported by GIZ ITP Digital Transformation Centre (DTC), and is a joint undertaking between eight public and private universities and colleges in Kosovo aiming to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and research among students and professors, as well as strengthen connections with the private sector and other relevant innovation ecosystem players.<\/p>\n

This years\u2019 edition will be focused on environmental and sustainable challenges to support faster green transition of our society, hence aiming at promoting innovation and solutions contributing to:<\/p>\n

1. Recycling and upcycling of waste,<\/p>\n

2. Digitalization of businesses to reduce waste, carbon emissions, and become environment friendly,<\/p>\n

3. Fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).<\/p>\n

Similar to last year, this years\u2019 edition of the Program will take place during weekends at ITP Prizren, and will last until 25 May for the demoday during the Digital Skills Festival.<\/p>\n

For more details on the Program, kindly find attached the detailed guidelines for participants including timelines of activities.<\/p>\n

The deadline for applications is until 18 March and students can apply via the following link:\u00a0https:\/\/shorturl.at\/dsB56<\/a><\/b><\/u><\/p>\n

In the meantime, VentureUP will contact each one of you to coordinate in organising info sessions at your universities. Additionally, there will also be online info sessions.<\/p>\n

We would kindly ask you to share this information with your students and motivate them to apply.\u00a0 We would be more than happy to support you with anything, so we can have another fully successful innovation program with our talented students.<\/p>\n
